The Artist
Kreg Franco (b.1996) seeks to capture the essence of people, places, and characters through highly detailed and realistic pieces. He’s constantly enriching his knowledge through observations, visualizing clients' ideas in diverse ways according to the subject.
Kreg is a NYC and NJ -based tattooer and illustrator. He currently tattoos at East Side Ink (NYC) and Krieg and Sieg (South Jersey). He has obtained a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology and is graduate of the High School of Art & Design.
His dedicated clients range from Los Angeles, to Texas, Minnesota, New Jersey, back to his home town in NY. He's worked on editorials, cover art, and publications with Star Wars, Batman, Marvel, Quentin Tarantino, Stranger Things, Fatherly, various indie films, and more.
His goal is to have viewers recognize the soul in his portraits, as each face has its own story to tell. What sort of story would you tell in yours?

The Allied Renaissance Kinship better known as ARK, is a New York based non-profit organization which represents local artists of New York City. Kreg has been featured in several of their exhibitions.
The Art Students League: NYC
Featured in the ASL in-house fall exhibition and their Seeds of the League exhibition in Chelsea.
Exploring the Arts: Wall Street, NYC
The legendary Tony Bennett hosted a massive dine-in/gallery/concert on Wall Street, inviting celebrity film and music guests. Kreg was exhibited along young artists chosen to have their work on display there.
AWARDS
-The Alexander Medal: awarded to a graduating senior who has completed an art program with distinction. Presented at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. (2014)
-The Barbara Nessim: Award for Excellence in Illustration (Summer 2014)
-Haney Medal: Presented by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for best artistic performance in Freshmen/Sophomore from NYC Public Schools. (Summer 2011)
-Buck's Rock Scholarship: Presented by NYC School Chancellor Dennis Walcott and the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Foundation. Three young artists were chosen from NYC to receive a $7,500 scholarship for the prestigious art camp, "Buck's Rock". (Summer 2011)
